This indicator, built as fully functional example, is called Cyclic Track.
Description:
The Cyclic Track shows the distance (in percentage) of a security price, from its reference moving average. This indicator will oscillate around the zero value, and the greater is its absolute value, the greater is the distance between the price of the security and its moving average.
-
Therefore values above zero and increasing, show a tendency to increase. Vice versa, negative and decreasing values show a tendency to decrease.
-
Values above zero, but decreasing, indicate the trend is finishing. On the opposite, when there are negative values but increasing, it is likely the negative trend is over.
To use the indicator with Insidero3000 proceed as follows:
-
Open the screen User Indicators Management from the Analysis menu, or from the icon on the top toolbar in the main program window.
-
Create a new indicator pressing the New button.
-
We recommend to rename the indicator with a more descriptive name than the default one.
-
Insert on the right box (using copy and paste), the code shown here, at the end of these instructions.
-
And eventually press the Save button.
Now your indicator is ready to be used like any other indicator distributed with the program. In fact it is possible to attach it to any security or to use it inside another portion of code to write, for example another indicator or trading system.
Select and copy the text inside the box below, in the screen User Indicators Management:
