Description:
The user, with the powerful programming language, is able to build any number of indicators, oscillators, alerts etc, in addition to the one provided.
In this way there is no limit at the creation of new indicators, or when building them from formulae found in some Technical Analysis book, or specialist magazine.
Use:
To access the form User Indicators Management select from menu Analysis the entry User Indicators Management or simply pressing the F6 key from the main program window. Else via the icon on the top toolbar.
The form has now two separate areas. The first area Indicators is where to create, cancel, edit, or copy the user indicators.

List
|
This key open the form "Indicator Lists", where it will be possible to Create, delete or edit the indicators list that are used. These will appear then in the Control Panel.

New
|
Create a new indicator. Of course this create an empty indicator, so after it has been created it is necessary to add the formula. This operation is done directly in this form, in the "Formula" area positioned near the existing user indicators list, or by using the Editor. To open the Editor just click with the mouse in the reserved area where the formula should be. (see also Editor paragraph)

Copy
|
Copy an existing indicator into a new one.

Delete
|
Delete selected indicator
|
|
Save
|
Confirm and apply all modifications done so far.

Exit
|
Exit from the window.

On the second area Options are defined the default value which the program will assign to the properties in the Control Panel to the User Indicators.

Color
|
Define the Indicator color.
|
|
Up Band
|
Define the level of the Indicator Up Band.
|

Down Band
|
Define the level of the Indicator Down Band.
|
|
Color Bands
|
Define the Indicator Bands color.
|
|
Width
|
Define the Indicator width
|
|
Allow Scale Log.
|
Activate or deactivate the use of the logarithmic scale in the indicator when it is drawn in the main window below the title. (the one containing the chart) This property is useful for the indicators which tend to follow the same trend of the chart itself, like the Moving Average. If the chart is displayed using the Logarithmic scale and the property "Allow Scale Log" is set to Yes, the indicator will appear on screen correctly proportioned. Otherwise it will be noticeable an offset between the chart and the indicator.

Use Min-Max chart

Activate the use of max and min values for the chart. This is the same as "Allow Scale Log." This property is useful for the indicators which tend to follow the same trend of the chart itself, like the Moving Average. By default is set to No

Define how the indicator will be drawn (line, histograms)

Middle point
|
Specify the middle point of oscillation in the histograms view

To facilitate the use during the creation of a new indicator, it is possible to decide before starting, at which indicator group it should be added. This operation can be done also afterwards, from the form Indicators Lists accessible pressing the key List from the vertical menu on the left.
