Description:
This function makes data export to a text file, easy and intuitive. Using this function it is possible to create text files containing securities data selected by the user, from one of existing WorkGroups.
Use:
To start the procedure, select the menu entry "Text File Export Wizard" from the menu "File" => "Data Files Management". There are three steps to complete the export:
Step 1
During step 1 it will be asked to define all properties regarding the text file:

Path
|
It is the path (folder) where the procedure will write the text file containing the data to export.

File name
|
Is the text file name which contains the data.
|

File format
|
It is the record file format of the text file. If the list shown does not have the desired file format, it is always possible to create a new one. (or modify an existing one). In order to do that press the button "Create New file format" to open the window of creation/edit file format. Once created and saved the new format, come back to the guided import, closing the configuration window.

Once the properties have been defined, click on "Next" to go to the next step. Step 2 This step defines what to export:

Workgroup
|
It defines the workgroup where are contained the files of the charts to export.

First and last Date/time
|
They define the interval of the periods to export.

Select the data to export The list shown contains all the charts of the Workgroup indicated in the property "Workgroup" If the charts in the Workgroup are compressed, the exported data will have the same compression rate. Suppose of having daily data with a weekly compression. The exported data will be the one of the compression, which is weekly.
NB Files with "other" compression, cannot be exported. Once all properties have been defined, click on "Next" to start the update. Step 3 This step shows the status of the export, displaying possible errors at the bottom of the window.
