Deleting, coping, cutting, pasting an Object

Any object can be deleted. This can be done in one of the following ways:

  • Select the indicator from the chart (the yellow square will appear), then press the Canc key from the keyboard.

  • Select the indicator from the treeview on the control pane, and press the Canc key from the keyboard.

  • Select the indicator from the Control Panel. Then select the menu entry "Delete this object" from the pop-up menu brought up by pressing the right hand mouse key when the cursor is on the indicator name in the treeview.

  • Select the indicator from the Control Panel. Press the button "Remove" at the bottom of the property detail, in the Control Panel.

  • Select the entry "Delete selected indicator" from the pop-up menu, which is shown by pressing the right hand mouse key on the indicator directly on the chart.


Before proceeding to the actual cancellation, the program may ask for confirmation, in accordance with the confirmation setting.

To enable/disable the deletion confirmation of objects, select the menu entry "Show Delete Window" from the entry View on the main program window. The confirmation can be disabled also when it is prompted.


An object can also be Copied, Cut and Pasted.

To Copy and object, select it first. Then:

  • press the button    from the top toolbar in the main program window.


or

  • Select the menu entry "Copy Object" from the "Edit" menu in the program main window.


or

  • Press the keys CTRL + C


or

  • select the entry "Copy" from the pop-up menu which appears by pressing the right hand mouse button when the cursor is positioned on the selection yellow squares.



To Cut an object, select it first. Then:

  • press the button    from the top toolbar in the main program window.


or

  • Select the menu entry "Cut Object" from the "Edit" menu in the program main window.


or

  • Press the keys CTRL + X


or

  • select the entry "Cut" from the pop-up menu which appears by pressing the right hand mouse button when the cursor is positioned on the selection yellow squares.



To Paste an object, select it first. Then copy or cut it. Click with the mouse on the position where you want to insert it. Eventually :

  • press the button    from the top toolbar in the main program window.


or

  • Select the menu entry "Paste Object" from the "Edit" menu in the program main window.


or

  • Press the keys CTRL + V


or

  • select the entry "Paste" from the pop-up menu which appears by pressing the right hand mouse button when the cursor is positioned on the selection yellow squares.
