Zoom

Every security chart can be zoomed up to a detail of a single period.

There are several ways to perform the zoom on a chart:

  1. Use the buttons found at the bottom of each security window:

"Zoom in" increases the level of details, reducing the number of periods displayed.

"Zoom out" decreases zoom level, showing more periods.

Resets the zoom window height, taking into account the maximum value of all periods on screen when pressing the button. By doing so, the Y scale of all internal windows is reset.

Exits from zoom showing the chart with its real size, resetting the Y scale of all internal windows.

  2. Using the manual zoom:

Press the key    from the top toolbar in the main program window, or select the entry "Manual Zoom" from the "View => Zoom" menu, to activate the function for which, by clicking with the left mouse key on the security chart, and dragging the pointer by keeping they key pressed, it is possible to manually delineate the zoom area.

  3. Using the periods zoom:

Press the key      from the top toolbar in the main program window, or select the entry "Set Periods" from the "View => Zoom", to activate the function with which it is possible to insert exactly the number of periods of details one wants to obtain. If, for example, you want to see 10 periods, just insert the number 10 when required by the program.

Other keys related to zoom functions:

On the top toolbar in the main program window:

Used to go back to the previous Zoom screen.

Used to go to the next Zoom screen, if you went back before.
