Often when analyzing a chart, an indicator or simply any other object, there is the need to have useful information about them. To make these information quickly available to the user, the program uses Tooltips. These are small pale yellow windows that appear by positioning the mouse near any object.
By positioning the cursor on any object, indicator, trading system or else, the pale yellow window will appear. It will contain information on the object under the cursor.
For example, in a candlestick chart, by positioning the cursor on a candle, all possible information related with the specific object are shown. In this case the values for Open, close, max, min, volume, open interest and pivot.
By positioning the cursor on a trendline, information on the name are shown, as well as initial date, initial price, final date, final price and inclination angle .
The same rule is valid for any other object, chart, indicator.
NB When the cursor is on any object it will have this icon . It should be simple enough to understand when the cursor is positioned on an object. This is useful not only to display the tooltip, but also to select the object in order to modify it or move it. Also in this circumstances pressing the right hand mouse button will show the pop-up menu.
